NSSF Announces Vacancies for Kenyans, Others With Minimum Qualification of KCSE Certificate

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) said it was looking for experienced, dynamic individuals to join its team.

Those interested need to submit their curriculum vitae and other documentation at Social Security houses by December 11, 2023 .

Qualifications differ, with an officer assistant having the minimum requirement of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has announced various vacancies in a move meant to enhance service delivery to Kenyans.

In a Tuesday, November 21, advertisement, NSSF sought to recruit 336 experienced, dynamic individuals to join its team in delivering top-notch services for all Kenyans.

“The National Social Security Fund has service delivery points spread across the country and is seeking to enhance capacity of its human resource to achieve its obligations of service delivery to all Kenyans.

The Fund seeks to recruit experienced and energetic Kenyans to fill these vacancies from the positions as outlined,” NSSF said.

NSSF seeks to recruit regional managers (6), assistant managers (19), branch managers (15), senior principal officers (28), accountants (24), security officers (2), records officers (2), principal officers (78), management trainees (46), drivers (25), and office assistants (15), among others.

Qualifications for jobs vary, with driver and officer assistants having the minimum requirement of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

Among the tasks for an office assistant will be sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming; shampooing carpets; maintaining safe custody of office keys during working hours; and delivering files to designated offices.

How is one expected to apply for NSSF jobs?

Those interested in the positions have been asked to submit their curriculum vitae and other documentation at Social Security houses by December 11, 2023.

“Interested applicants are required to send a cover letter, Curriculum Vitae and copies of certificates/testimonials by hand/courier in an envelope that is clearly marked indicating the position applied for OR drop the application to the Mail Office, Social Security House, Bishops Road, Block ‘A’, Western Wing, Ground Floor by Monday,11th December 2023 at 5pm,” the advert read.

NSSF said only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

“Please note that only shortlisted candidates shall be contacted.

Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification. Candidates are advised that the Fund does not have any agents and will undertake this recruitment without charging any fees whatsoever,” NSSF said.
