A petrol attendant died while receiving medical care at the Kangundo hospital after he was thrown out of a moving vehicle on Monday.
According to reports, the attendant was abducted by unknown individuals who had just refueled at a petrol station he was manning along the Tala-Kangundo road.
Reports indicate that after fueling, they refused to pay their dues and instead, alighted and forced the attendant into the vehicle before speeding off.
The Toyota Probox’s occupants are then said to have thrown him out of the moving vehicle before speeding away again.
The attendant was rescued by well-wishers and Kangundo police officers who found him on the road with injuries and took him to the hospital.
He succumbed to his injuries at the Kangundo Hospital, and his body was moved to the mortuary at the same facility.
