Six people have been confirmed dead after being involved in a road accident along the Narok-Mulot road in Narok County.
A police report says that the fatal accident, which occurred in the Silanage area, saw a Subaru Forester colliding head-on with a Toyota Sienta while trying to overtake.

Police say that the Sienta, carrying 6 passengers, was heading towards Mulot while the Subaru was heading towards Narok.

“Upon reaching at the scene of the accident, the vehicles collided head-on when Subaru Forester tried to overtake another motor vehicle,” read part of the report.

All six occupants of the Sienta died on the spot while the Subaru driver sustained minor injuries.

Police say “driver of the Subaru Forester complained of chest pains and was rushed to Cottage Hospital.”

The bodies have been taken to Narok District Hospital Mortuary pending identification and postmortem.

Meanwhile, the totalled cars have been towed to the Narok Police Station pending inspection.
