Gospel singer Size 8 and her husband DJ Mo have finally given fans the full tour they have been waiting for, pulling back the curtain on the ground floor of their stunning Nairobi mansion in a video posted to Size 8’s page on Thursday, 5 November.

“Here is a snippet of our house…. Ohhh see the doing of the Lord 💯… for our Father through Jesus Christ is Faithful. This is our ground floor and we are so grateful to God 🤗🥰😍,” Size 8 wrote alongside the clip.

Inside the grand entrance

The tour kicks off at the front door, a matte black imported door that DJ Mo previously revealed cost KSh 230,000 and comes fitted with 14 locks.

Size 8, dressed in a denim vest over a white top and jeans, and DJ Mo, in an all-white outfit, welcome viewers barefoot into a hallway finished in glossy white marble with black inlays, recessed LED ceiling lighting, and a large framed wedding portrait hung prominently on the wall.

The couple’s powder room features wood panelling, warm lighting, plants and scented candles, while the main bathroom drew gasps online for its black marble tiles, round mirror, wall-mounted toilet and pendant lights that give it a full spa atmosphere.

The sunken living room that stole the Show

The clear highlight of the tour is the sunken living room, with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling curtains that stretch all the way to the roof.

The space is anchored by a large light-grey L-shaped sectional sofa with turquoise and white pillows on gold legs, a white coffee table on a plush rug, and a built-in TV wall with illuminated shelving displaying plants and decorative pieces.

Size 8 is seen testing the fabric of the sofa before collapsing onto it with DJ Mo, both laughing as they settle in.

The open-plan dining area connects seamlessly to the living space, centred on a white oval dining table with gold-accented chairs, gold candle holders and a marble feature wall displaying illuminated family photos.

The adjacent kitchen features light wood cabinetry, white countertops, a yellow island with white bar stools and built-in ovens, alongside smart features the couple previously teased, including a voice-command cooker and a Bluetooth speaker that rises from the counter.

A four-year journey

The Daykio-area home, located along Kiganjo Road off Thika Road, broke ground in April 2022 and the couple moved in April 2026.

Valued at approximately KSh 45 to 46 million, it includes six bedrooms, a prayer room, a home theatre and a recording studio, with voice-activated curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Building it came with real sacrifices. The Murayas did not purchase a new car from 2018, cut back on lifestyle spending, and Size 8 wore thrifted outfits to stay within budget.

For the couple, married since 2012 and parents of two, the tour is as much a testimony of faith and perseverance as it is a home reveal.
