Chelsea will have to allow some of their first teamers leave Stamford Bridge next summer in order to fund the acquisition of Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.

Footballinsider via Caughtoffside, reports that the Blues are close to breaching the Financial Fair Play Rules if they go on to sign Osimhen and the other targets if they fail to sell some of the stars.

Record-breaking signings of Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández have put the Blues on the brink of violating the rules.

Napoli have recently announced that Osimhen has a release clause in the region of €130m which means that Chelsea will need to take drastic actions if they are to sign their long-term targets.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side faces stiff competition from Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal in their bid to bring the Nigeria international to the Premier League.

Chelsea are in dire need of a striker and the 2023 CAF African Player of the Year is their first choice target.

The former Lille striker has scored 72 goals in 123 all-competitions since joining the Serie A champions.
