The University of Cologne has outlined master’s programmes available without tuition fees, giving prospective students including applicants from Kenya an opportunity to explore postgraduate study in Germany.
The courses are offered by the university’s Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, also known as the WiSo Faculty. The programmes are taught in English.
According to the university,
“WiSo Master’s programmes offer top-tier education with no tuition fees and countless professional pathways.”
Programmes across three fields
The faculty lists 15 consecutive master’s programmes across business administration, economics and social sciences.
The university says the courses combine research, international exposure and links with industry and society.

The faculty also offers the CEMS Master in International Management, which it describes as available only in Germany, as well as five double master’s programmes and an Executive MBA.
The university says its WiSo master’s courses provide education without tuition fees and lead to a range of professional pathways.
