South African-based Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has opened up about her plans for her grown sons to move out of her luxurious mansion.

The mother of five, known for her flamboyant lifestyle, shed light on the challenges she faces with her sons, including a recent viral video depicting a family squabble over parking space.

In a recent interview while in Kenya, Zari disclosed that her sons now have their own apartments, inherited from their late father, Ivan Ssemwanga.

The family made headlines in December 2019 when Zari’s first-born son, Pinto Ntale, was officially named as the heir to Ivan Ssemwanga’s multi-million-shilling estate by his father’s clan.

In the interview, Zari explained, “We still fight about the parking in my yard, but hopefully, my boys will move out next year. They own apartments and cars, and they need to go. They just need to go. So hopefully that will be sorted next year.”

She emphasised the independence of her sons and the need for them to establish their own lives.

The socialite, who has been transparent about her journey from humble beginnings with Ivan, dismissed the notion of mere inheritance, stating:

“When they call it inheritance, I say we started from the bottom. You all know us after 2020 and not before.”

Zari noted the hard work and dedication that went into building their wealth together.

Zari and Ivan, who were once a power couple, had three sons together before their separation.

Ivan Ssemwanga passed away on the 25th of May 2017 at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria, South Africa.
